После этого команда распалась, а ее участники были вынуждены скрываться в разных странах. Но такая жизнь не приносит им удовлетворения: их постоянно тянет домой, а привычка всегда быть в бегах делает их жизнь практически невыносимой.
В это время Хоббсу не удается поймать банду преступников, которым постоянно удается оторваться от служителей закона на своих крутых машинах. Чтобы задержать шайку во главе с Оуэном Шоу, он должен найти Доминика Торетта и его команду. В качестве благодарности за помощь Хоббс обещает гонщикам простить все их совершенные до этого преступления. Но Доминик, конечно, никак не мог ожидать, что в этом деле он окажется по другую сторону баррикад со своей бывшей подружкой Летти, которую все уже считали погибшей.
